This is a very newbie qeustion, but I need clarity and I'm not getting it from our VMWare SE and the online documentation is less than clear.
We have an instance of vCloud Director which we are using to enable VM provisioning services for our engineers. My understanding is the vCaC is an upgrade to vCloud (aka - replacement). It has a bunch of bells and whistles that we do not need, however I'd like to know if this is true. Is vCaC a replacement for vCloud, or a tool that is used only in conjuction with vCloud and other orchestrators? All we require today is a simple VM self provisioning tool for non-VMWare/vSphere knowledgeable users.
Thanks
