CloudClient 4.0.0: Cannot autologin

I downloaded CloudClient 4.0.0 today, copied my autologin key and CloudClient.properties files from 3.1.0 and ran bin/cloudclient.sh, but got a failure when logging onto my vRA 6.2.0 server.  The VCO login succeeded, so I know my key is working.  The errors on the screen show this:

$ bin/cloudclient.sh

JRE Version: 1.8.0_65

Persisted session being used is incompatible with this version of cloudclient.

Failed to Login to vRA server https://<hostname>, tenant=vsphere.local with username <username>.

VCO login: [ACTIVE], session: [ACTIVE], sessionKey=[default], user=[<username>], server=[<hostname>:8281]

Note: <hostname> and <username> values shown are for brevity.

When I check the cloud-client-error.log it shows the following error:

2016-01-04 14:23:03,895 cc: [priority="ERROR" thread="main"] com.vmware.cloudclient.core.authentication.CafeSSOAuthentication.ReadSessionOrPropertiesAndLogin:398 - Login failure. The authentication method used by vRA server is not supported. Only VMware Identity Manager based authentication is supported.com.vmware.cloudclient.exception.CloudClientException: Login failure. The authentication method used by vRA server is not supported. Only VMware Identity Manager based authentication is supported.

Is there something else that needs down with CloudClient 4.0.0 in order to use autologin?  I haven't changed anything on our vRA server and 3.1.0 works fine.  I checked the CloudClient 4.0.0 documentation, but nothing seems to stand out with this regard.  Thanks.
