Hi All,

Cluster, Hostname, VM name, IPAddress, CPU, memory, Snapshots, Citrical Alarms, Critical events, Datastore free space, Datastore Provisioned, Datastore Total
This script should cover the PCI & DMZ servers also, so that we can include them.

Migrating managed users to new vRA installation
Hi,
We use vRA to manage a subset of users in AD. We are in the process of moving to a new vRA installation. Is it in any way possible to move the managed users so they can be managed in the new vRA installation?

[vRA 7.4] - Hide form TAB
Hi guyZ
When we use "Codestream" it's possible to used a XAAS form named "Group Package Request".
In this form you can add more package with this check box :
If this check box is "UNCHECK", only six tab are available but when we check the Box a new TAB appear "ADD MORE PACKAGES".
How can do that ? Do you have an idea ?

vRA 7.4 - export\import XaaS content using REST
Hello,
I would like to programatically export and import XaaS content, using the REST API endpoints. I want to transfer all my XaaS workflows, resource actions etc. between tenants.
The documantation on that matter seems not to be complete.
First I have generated a new package, with the content type xaas-bundle-content, and saved the package ID.
Afterwards I use a command documented in the programming guide under "Export XaaS Content Example". Then I have added the token, tenant id (tenant name), package ID and a path to the output file at the end:

I get the same errors, when trying to use the Content service API instead of the XaaS API. I've also tried it with the other xaas-* types.
What is the correct way to import\export XaaS content using the REST API?

vRA 7.4 simple install error
When attempting the simple install of vRA 7.4 we recieive this error during the Single-SignOn Section and cannot proceed. The IaaS server has passed all pre-reqs. Anyone else run in to this or can offer a solution?

SQL Server error during vRA Simple Install
The installer fails on the Database Role.
Examining the logs on the IaaS server show the following:

We have verified the username and PW is correct. This is a pre-created database that uses SQL authentication. I have tested credentials by creating a dummy ODBC connections and the test passes. Also, earlier in the install wizard, the SQL database is verified and passes with the same credentials.
This is SQL 2016 and we had found that the DB was in 130 compatibility mode. Changed it to 120 comparability mode and the same results occur.

Deploying VMware VIO Openstack via VRA
Anyone out there deploying openstack images in vRA using the VMware Intergrated Openstack vCO plugin? Looking for a little help with the deploy a heat stack workflow.
When setting up the workflow one of the inputs is "template_content" where you are supposed to copy and paste the HEAT HOT Template content. It appears my content is not cutting the mustard because the workflow pukes trying to parse YAML content.
Anybody out there have this working and if so would you please be so kind as to share the content of the template file

What is the procedure to upgrade the vRA 7.2 to vRA 7.3 , for simple installation 1vRO with external vRO and IAAS server. yes , there VMware Documentation , but looking for some real time upgrade sequence and issues or any blog which has already covered this.
1) What is the order to upgrade the vRA comments ( vRA,IAAS,vRO, etc )??
2) Does IAAS components need to upgade separately ??
3) I have Primary and Secondary vRO connected to single data base, how to upgrade ??

Change Network for Approval
Hello Guys
In VRA 7.4 I have blueprint of OS with approval group.
When a user request a new VM, the blueprint show the cluster and the network with Property Definitions.
Now the request when is received for the approval and show the requirement (Memory/Disk/etc) but the approval by example need change the vlan 10 to vlan 11 of the request by error of the original request.
Is possible change values by the approval?

Automating vRA Bulk Import Process
Hello Everyone,
Use case : “Promoting existing VMs or Cloud VMs to vRA for management”.
I am able to generate a CSV file using VRO Javascript Workflow and files gets saved in local machine.
Now I am stuck at the next step , i.e. to import machines from that CSV file to vRA, for management. I explored Rest API for this process, though it did not provide much information. Any suggestions, how to do this achieve this process VRO Javascript Workflow ?

vRA VIP Change
I can't find any previous discussion or documentation on this. I'd really rather not have to reinstall my entire vRA, but I need to change the Mananger and Web VIPs.
Is there a process to change VIPs in vRA 7.4?
The vra appliance is easy enough to do in the vami, but I'm not sure where all it would need to be changed for the Manager and Web components.
Any help would be appreciated.

vRA 7.2 - root session frequently time out.
Just deployed vRA 7.2 appliance and now I am login either via ssh/winscp or vami interface with root user, its log out frequently within seconds..

vSphere Initial Setup on Simple Install failing
After completing the simple install of vRA and attempting to run the pre-created vSphere initial Setup wizard, it fails with the message:
Error details:
No compute resources found for endpoint [vcenter] (Workflow:vSphere Initial Setup / Wait to discover compute resorces (item3)#25)
If we go to Infrastructure>Endpoints, the vcenter instance that was entered during the simple install wizard is there. If we run a test connection, the following is returned:
Unsuccessful
Test connection failed: The vSphere agent does not exist or may not be running
I have verified that the IaaS and SQL servers have the correct MSDTC settings.
Any Ideas?

[vRA 7.4] - Bulk import failed : retrieving blueprint and component information
Hi,
We migrate our VMs from a 7.3 environment to a new 7.4 environment.
We encounter this error :
Error occurred while retrieving blueprint and component information. Message: 'One or more errors occurred.'
We have try to :
- Recreate a New IaaS blueprint.
- IaaS BP are present in the BG entitlement
- We have exported the virtual machines with the option "
- We have modified the CSV file like this :
Has anyone come across this problem before ?

How to set reservation policy with Event Broker
I have a need to dynamically assign the reservation policy after a request has been submitted based on the type of catalog item requested and business group membership of the user. I have created vRO workflows that select the appropriate reservation policy, but I cannot get it to apply the the deployment using the "ReservationPolicyId" property or the hidden "__reservationPolicyID" property. I have attempted these properties through an output of the vRO workflow as a properties object and also using "System.getModule("com.vmware.library.vcac").addUpdatePropertyFromVirtualMachineEntity". Other properties such as setting the VM Folder, setting custom attributes or setting CPU/Mem sizes work properly. It seems to me as though this property is referenced prior to my setting it and therefore is ignored. I am using the EBS topic "Machine provisioning" with the conditions in the image below.
