Hello again...
Has anyone played with updating the description field, or adding custom field for a Deployment item (Item Details | Details tab) in vRA?
Users can add their own description information in the baked in field during the catalog request time (most of the time they don't ), and since this is the first page a user sees when selecting one of their deployment items in vRA, we figured it would be a good place to add more useful information on the deployment.
For example, a Linux appliance with web services, and inserting a url to connect to that service.
It's always a challenge giving users information relevant to their deployments and having it stick, and emails are not the answer to everything.
Looking for any ideas, so putting this out there.
