vCAC 6.0 \ vCO 5.5 - Service Blueprint doesn't send mail, although smtp is configured

Hi,

my config is:

- vCAC 6.0 using the internal, default vCO 5.5 instance

- vCO vCenter Plug-in Endpoint configured, although its irrelevant in this case, no data from the vCenter is pulled

- vCAC has a SMTP Server configured to send out notifications - this works perfectly fine

Starting a vCO Worfkflow, which sends an e-mail ("Send Notification") via the vCO Client connected directly to the default vCO instance, works fine. However when I add the Workflow as a Service Blueprint in SSO and submit the request, after a while it fails with the error (Cannot send mail : Could not connect to SMTP host: 10.x.x.x, port: 25 (Workflow:Send notification / Send Email (item0)#28)). The item referenced is the scriptable task fails during the execution of message.sendMessage();. Like I said, this Workflow completes successfully when started in the vCO Client.

I have also created a workflow composed of 2 elements: a scriptable task which creates the mail content, which is then passed along to the "Send notification" workflow (second element). This workflow requires no user input, the smtp server, to- and from address stay the same. When launched in vCAC as an advanced service, I get a confirmation that the request was completed successfully, but the mail that is supposed to be the output is not sent. Same as above with the vCO Client - when I start the workflow directly from vCO, it completes without problems.

Can someone please give some insight on what might be wrong? I'm out of ideas by now.
