hey all,
going to open a case with VMware around this, but anyone got some experience with this?
we have multiple datacenters and don't want to deploy a VRA per datacenter.
I know that the proxy agent for vCenter should be sitting close to the vCenter, are there any other recommendations/best practises? is there a document I missed?
a) VRO. VRA relies heavily on vRO, however a lot of our workflows are running commands on remote vCenter including communication directly with the VMs (injecting scripts etc). I have no issues creating a 2nd vRO for the remote vCenter if needs be, but should it be close to VRA or close to vCenter?
b) software installations: I'm using the guest agent to install software. here the VM is communicating directly with the vRA (latency, noise, etc). In one case I got a timeout which I believe might have been because of this. are there timeout values that can be increased? any best practise/tips/ideas here?
