I'm trying to present a vCO workflow as an advanced service offering in vCAC 6.0, which is easy enough to do. The issue is that the workflow in question has manual tasks in it (as in, our process isn't fully automated yet). When run directly in vCO, the workflow presents a User Interaction at the point where the manual steps are required, and waits for somebody in a specific Active Directory group to perform a task, then log into vCO, enter some information, and click Continue. For the sake of this discussion, let's just say that these manual tasks can't be automated at this time.
When I request the advanced service offering I created, it adds the User Interaction to my inbox in vCAC (the inbox of the requester), and I can complete it as we normally would in vCO. HOWEVER, this is not the desired behavior. vCAC ignored the LDAP group that we assigned to the user interaction in vCO and automatically assigned it to the requester, when we actually want it to be assigned to the specific group or allow somebody in that group to assign it to themselves. We can't find a way to un-assign or reassign the task, either in vCAC or from vCO.
So, the question is, is there any way to change who the tasks are assigned to? Alternately, is there some completely different way we should be going about this? We'd like to use vCAC as a portal for all of our service offerings, not just our fully automated ones, but we can't do that if we can't figure out how to assign manual tasks to groups or individual users.
Thanks for the help!
