IP Status Types in vRA Network Profiles

There are 4 status types for IPs Allocated, Unallocated, Destroyed, Expired? I believe expired is only available in NAT network profiles and Destroyed is for the Destroyed Machines. But how vRA deals with these destroyed and expired IPs
