Hello,
i can not connect with the CloudClient 4.1 to my vRA 7 deployment. VMware vRA web portal works fine
Error log
My vRA appliance and the vRa IaaS host have only internal IP adresses. There are internal DNS records for both ip addresses (xxx.server.domain.com) (not resolvable on the public internet)
The internal IP address of the vRA appliance is NATed to an external/offical ip address with an external DNS record (privatecloud.domain.com)
The public and the private DNS names are part of the SSL certificate.
DNS-Name=vra-inf-1.server.domain.com DNS-Name=vra-va-1.server.domain.com DNS-Name=privatecloud.domain.com
In the documentation pubs.vmware.com/vra-70/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.vmware.vrealize.automation.doc%2FGUID-743FA588-1845-4CBE-92D0-208886DCAE4A.html
is no requirement for communication between user client <> IaaS host. The user client (web browser/cloud client) only communicates with the vRA appliance via HTTS on port 443.
So could it be a problem that a not resolvable name is inside the SSL certificate?
If a add vra-inf-1.server.domain.com to the host file of the client i can connect.
Thank you
