- The Xen agent's AD user has admin privileges on the xenservers.
- The XenServer's self-signed certificate is imported as trusted authority on the agent.
- I have verified communication between the XenServer and the agent user via HTTPS and SSH
- On the vCAC admin console's "Agent Configuration" page, the Xen agent is pointed to the FQDN of the XenServer being pool master. (without the SSL port number ie ":443")
The agent is running fine, but during inventory requests it logs:
[Inventory] VirtualMachine.ManagementEndpoint0=<xenserver FQDN>
[Error]<...>
System.ArgumentException: Failed to logon to Xen.
at DynamicOps.Vrm.Agent.Xen.XenLogOn.LogOn()
What am I doing wrong? Any ideas on ow to debug this?
I tried to reconfigure the Agent's endpoint details to include 443 via vCAC Admin's "Agent Configuration" with no luck.
I have verified the agent's username/password using DynamicOps.Vrm.VRMencrypt.exe
No log error details are to be found in the XenServer's /var/log/
How do I actually reconfigure agents without endpoints?
Where do I find a complete list of all configured agents, like xen and epi including all configuration details?
It's obvious to me that some config details are stored in database and not in
