Hello,

I am setting up a new vRA 7 environment with single server deployment mode and when the IaaS server get installed, i found that the vCAC server is not ready to get started and was giving error. After checking logs in Eventviewer found the error stack below

This unhandled exception was caught: System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: The entry '*' has already been added. (C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\vCAC\Server\ManagerService.exe.Config line 167)

as it indicates, i went and check the ManagerServer.exe.config file found that there is '*' at line 167,

after commenting the section, the service was able to get started.

I dont know if i had caused anything which could break at later stage but currently the services are running fine .

does any one know if anything missed while installing the component or it is some sort of bug with the setup.

any pointers will be helpful

Br,
