Recently I've deployed vRealize Business 6.1.0, which comes with my vCloud Advanced license. I want to integrate it with vRealize Automation 6.2.2. The InterOp matrix says that those products are compatible.
The installation itself went fine, I've inserted my vCloud license key in the dashboard.
The data collection ran through, I can run reports on my vSphere environment. However there is often a yellow exclamation mark in the System Status every time data data collection runs on vRealize Automation. After a few minutes the status returns to green but, when I run reports on vRA, the business groups are correctly displayed but all costs equals 0.
Also, the vRA 6.2 documentation says, that if you have the Business Appliance integrated with vRA, then it should be possible to do a cost data collection on the side of the vRA appliance:
"Configure Cost data collection.
This is only available for compute resources managed by vRealize Business Standard Edition.
-Select On to enable data collection.
-Select Off to disable data collection.
-(Optional) Type a number in the Frequency text box to configure the time interval (in hours) between cost data collections.
-(Optional) Click Request Now to manually start data collection."
This option is not available for me in vRA.
The user I use to connect to vRA has Tenant Admin and Business Management Administrator roles assigned.
The itfm-vc-dc (data collector log) does not list errors, however there is also no indication that a data collection is running on the vRA appliance, but only against the vCenter.
Can someone please give me a tip on how to get the vRA data collection working?
Thanks!
