vCenter Inventory run Error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

Hello,

I am trying to run vCenter inventory from Compute Resource but it is failing with error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." looks like this is something DB related error but could not figure out how to resolve it.

here is the complete message from Log Viewer

DC: fa993cc9-bc17-4215-95eb-ef21dd4c4cd4: inventory: vCenter-agent: infrastructure: Error processing data collection response, StatusID = 8fb142e5-f934-47d3-8bc5-f6a40cd54c57, exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

i have vCenter Automation Center 5.2 fresh installed with DB and other components installed on single server, basically this is complete single server installation.
