Expiring VMs on vCAC 5.2.4

We use vCAC 5.2.4 Build 101. We use leases for the test environment. Is there a way to modify the workflow for expiring VMs such that they send an email to the VRM owner, but not destroy it?

We do not use a vCAC designer or a VCO.
