Is it possible to require approval from a requester's direct manager? If I have users from 50 AD groups (all in the same Business Group), and each AD group has a separate manager, there's no realistic way I can set up a separate approval policy for each one of those groups. Is there a way to create an approval policy that dynamically selects the approver based on the user, maybe through the "manager" property in LDAP?
Another approach we considered is to prompt the requester to enter their manager's information on the request page, then somehow tie that custom property into the approval policy. We tried to prompt in a similar way to how you can override the Owner of a request, but we can't find a way to search AD when prompting for a custom property.
Any ideas?
