Select OS Templates using Property Dictionary??

Hi,

This thought crossed my mind. We don't like to have so many templates in the vCAC. So is it possible for a vCAC end user to select the template he wants to deploy using a drop down menu? I meant like the way we use Property Dictionaries to select Datacenter or Network or Storage. Is it possible to have a Property Dictionary for the OS templates as well?

Does the custom property CloneFrom and CloneSpec help in this? I tried these, but no luck.

Is there a way to do this? If yes, let us know the steps.
