VCAC 6.0 IA Infromation applicnce catalina.log filling up a voulme , can I just delete the catalena.out and it will create a new one?

I am NOT well versed in UNIX stuff  if I but this if what I know from the DF -H command

how can I deal with this ?

how can I have not so much logging goto catalena.out ?

can I delete the catalena.out?
