How to change administrator@vsphere.local password in vRa 7.2 ?
Hello All,
We have vRA 7.2 environment with external vro and forgot the administrator@vsphere.local password.
When I login to WAMI page to change the password, I found the option to change the password in two tabs one is in vRA Settings>SSO and another on is in Admin tab.
What is the difference between these two user ID's and If I change the password what are all the places we need to update the new password ( like , vRO, etc ).

vRA 7.4 Custom form permission refused ?
Hi,
we moved to vRA 7.4 and we enable Custom Form Blueprint...
Very nice.
But for some kind of users (which have the privilege to use the standard blueprint), we have the following error while loading the blueprint custom form :
If I log on another account which is member of the entiltlemment, it works
Do someone has an idea ?

Skip Initial Power On
Hello,
after an Upgrade from vRA 7.1 to 7.4 the BasicVmWorkflow has the new state initalPowerOn. I don't want the machine automatically powering on an tried to trigger a workflow with subscriptions. But neither with output variable workflowNextState = BuildComplete nor withvirtualMachineEvent = OnCreatingMachineComplete i can skip the initial power on.
The Subscriptios is configured to run the workflow at state PRE and state name BasicVmWorkflow.InitialPowerOn. The Workflow starts about 30 seconds before the machine is powered on.

Cloudclient import unmanaged vms
Has anyone been able to import an unmanaged vm with cloudclient 4.4? What's it asking for in the blueprintid field? I think I'm almost there.

Here, I've tried MY_COMPOSITE_BLUEPRINT, which is also the name of the template that MY_COMPOSITE_BLUEPRINT clones.
It complains thusly:

vROM to monitor only part of an environment
Is it possible using vROM 6.7 to monitor and collect data on only certain datacentres within vSphere? I'm digging through the documentation now but I'm not convinced this is a typical configuration. Thank you in advance!

Openshift create project Container
Hello Guys
In a implementation of VRA 7.4, I need to be able to do the following:
In Openshift I need to be able to create a container through cli from VRA. Windows 2012 was installed with Openshift Client Tools and run the cli for create a new container
oc new-app mysql-ephimeral
The Container is created without problems but I need to know if it is possible to do this from VRA.
I think it's possible to do with XAAS making a call via powershell entering host parameters user password and openshift command.
I would like to know if it is possible to do the aforementioned or if you know any other method that allows me to do the above.

A issue related to request VRA catalog item with software components
Good evening, All.
We are use VRA 7.3 with ESXi 6.0 Patch 6
We have blueprint with software components that include some script to install SQL server,Antivirus agent and some third party software.
When I request item from VRA GUI , it successful deploy vm with the script running
When I request through REST API , with request template( I am use PowrVra . The machine was deployed, but the script apparently not running
Does anybody running into similar issue?

Stop, Destroy, Deploy Failures
Hey all, I have a recently deployed vRA 7.4 instance running and I'm trying to identify the cause of a few different things that are happening.
1. Partial success of deployment of a test, where a single VM blueprint was deployed with a count of 5. Only a few of the VMs successfully deployed.
2. When trying to power off one of the VMs from the items tab, some fail and some do not.
3. When trying to destroy one of the VMs from the items tab, some fail and some do not.
Since this is a distributed install I'm having trouble finding which log set I should be looking into.

Failed Catalog Item Request Using vCACCAFERequestsHelper in vRO - "NativeArray" conversion error?
I'm having trouble figuring out why the Catalog Item request I am making fails. Using javascript methods in vRO, essentially getting a blank Catalog Item request, converting it to JSON, making modifications, stringifying the modified request and submitting the request. Seems like the request submission at the very end of the workflow fails for some reason.
I send both the original and modified request data to System.log, and everything seems fine. I even commented out all the modifications and still get the errors.
Not sure what to look at as the next troubleshooting step.

Remove DEM-Orchestrator from vRA (7.4)
Hey all,
I've uninstalled the DEM-Orchestrator from the DEM VM via the control panel and didn't realize that of course its still in the vRA database so it still shows in the vRA UI. Is there a supported way to remove the offline DEM-Orchestrator? I've seen older posted that mention using Repoutil.exe but it doesn't seem to exist in 7.4.

Rdp to vRA VMS without vpn
Hi,..
I am running vra7.4 Which have a public domain but private IP through split brain DNS.
I want my users to Rdp to thier VMS once they created them through thr RDP action provided by vRA7 from outside network 'internet'.
The issue is the vms created by blueprints will have private ips so RDP action provided by vRA7 Portal will provide this private IP to the end users which will not work.
Plz know that the IP range Will be setup in the network profile.
Any ideas plz, is there anything I can do to make it possible for the end-users to rdp to their vms automatically.
